JA Take Stock in Your Future®
This program introduces high school students to the foundational mechanics of the stock market and the broader world of investing. Through a structured curriculum, students explore how equity markets operate, analyze how current events and global news impact stock prices, and weigh the historical risks and rewards of trading.
Rather than viewing the market in isolation, the curriculum teaches students to view stock ownership as one piece of a comprehensive, long-term personal investment strategy. For many participants, the classroom lessons culminate in the JA Stock Market Challenge, a high-energy simulation event where students put their knowledge to the test by trading in a live, fast-paced market environment.
